Total Solar Eclipse

The total solar eclipse of 2024 is set to be a remarkable celestial event. On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will be visible across parts of North America. The path of totality—the area where the sun is completely obscured by the moon—will stretch from Mexico, through the United States, and into Canada.

Prime Location: We've scouted an ideal location for optimal eclipse viewing, ensuring you have the best possible conditions for your shots. We secured exclusive private access to a farm outside Paris, TX, which is right in the center of the Path of Totality, minimizing crowds and distractions.

Known for its favorable April climate, Texas traditionally experiences clear skies during this time, enhancing the prospects of an unobstructed view of the eclipse, allowing viewers to witness this celestial spectacle in full.

Our workshop will be held in a picturesque location with natural surroundings, offering plenty of opportunities for creative photography beyond the eclipse.

Professional Guidance & Tips: Learn from seasoned photographers who will guide you in capturing the perfect eclipse shot. Acquire valuable insights into astrophotography techniques, equipment, and settings to enhance your skills.

Who Should Attend: Anyone who wants to be awed by photographing a total solar eclipse - your photographic experience doesn’t matter. We will show you how to make eclipse photos like you see on this page and we will work with you to help improve your photography, no matter your level. We will help with mastering your camera settings, using the proper lens, composition and how to capture what you are seeing with your camera. Exposures during the eclipse will be tricky and we'll be helping you make sure you are getting a great shot.

Remember that you must use special eclipse safety glasses (supplied with your workshop) at all times during the partial phases of a total solar eclipse. A High-Quality solar filter that fits your lens and is specifically designed for solar observation and photography is also REQUIRED.

NOTE: Due to peak travel during the time of the solar eclipse, airline flights will be limited, unavailable, or extremely expensive unless purchased far in advance.  To avoid financial penalties on other interested participants, we are abiding by special Terms and Conditions for this workshop:
